Tia - "Leonz Stunning Storm"

This girl has the colour and stance of a magnificent lion. We call her our biker chick  as she is a very big girl weighing in at 62kg with perhaps a less feminine overall appearance. Tia was not a 'showy' dog and never felt inclined to prance around the ring magnificently so we needed patience and a steadfast belief in her soundness to keep on showing her. Our patience was rewarded this year and she won her final certificate making her NZKC Champion at last. Our belief in her soundness was also reinforced when her hip and elbow scores were revealed. Using the PennHIP scoring system Tia rates in the highest percentile with some of the best scores ever for NZ. WOW! Now at age 4 we feel strongly that she is past the ideal breeding age so she won't be mated. She will however keep her toes in the show ring now and then for the next year.
